Which plan do you recommend for juniors?
For fall-semester juniors, the annual plan gives you access across multiple test dates, including the option to retake in the fall of senior year, and works out as the best deal. For spring-semester juniors, the annual plan is still the best option because most students need Brilliant Tutors for 6–9 months of prep.
Which plan do you recommend for sophomores?
Most sophomores benefit from the annual plan. It lets them explore both the SAT and ACT, picks up multiple test dates, and leaves room for super-scoring.
Why do you require payment info for the free trial?
We collect a card upfront to prevent duplicate accounts and to keep the trial genuine — it means every student using Brilliant Tutors is serious about their prep. No charge is made during the 3 days. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you'll owe nothing.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancel at any time to stop renewal; you keep paid features through the end of the current billing cycle. Because Brilliant Tutors is a digital product with instant access, we do not issue partial or pro-rated refunds for unused portions of a billing cycle. See Terms for full details.
